Welcome to my new Blog!

My name is Daniel Hollands and this will be the place where I can talk sailing with the world and perhaps even inspire a few to give it a go. For those of you that wish to know more about me please take a look at the About Me page.

I have kept a couple of blogs before this which I have incorporated into this one. I will endeavour to regularly post on here to show what I do and how I get on doing it, whether that be events that I sail in, or boats that I am refurbishing, repairing or building. I also plan on teaching my partner to sail this summer so keep a look out for posts detailing her experiences.

Hello and welcome to Dan’s new blog where he will be posting everything and anything to do with his sailing!

I am Charlotte, partner of Dan and creator of this blog. Dan will be writing the majority of the posts where he will talk about the events and competitions which he takes part in as well as the refurbishments and repairs he has been completing and the boat he is building, but I will be here to contribute also in order to take some of the weight off. Hopefully, Dan will be teaching me to sail in the new year once he has finished refurbishing our National 12 (Baggy Trousers design) so I am sure I can also do some posts on the highs and lows of learning to sail for anyone who may be interested in learning to sail also. For now, the building of this site is still a work in progress but watch this space as there will be more to come!
