The first event of the year is approaching very quickly.
As in most years, we’re off to Rutland Sailing Club. This is often one of the coldest and windiest sailing events of the calendar as we’re only just out of winter.
B14 769 will be helmed by my team mate Daniel Cowin and I will be crewing for the weekend. Dan and I have been sailing together since 2010 although we have known each other through the B14 circuit for many years.
Hopefully next weekend we’reaiming for a top 5 result, this could be dependant on the weather as our joint weight is at the top end of what is considered competitive and, in light wind, we are somewhat handicapped.
